OUR IMPACT

What we do

Ben's Way Forward supports the Grundy County community in the ways he cared about most — through direct giving, local partnerships, and consistent, hands-on support.

OUR IMPACT

Areas of focus

Every initiative below reflects a cause Ben cared about, carried forward through ongoing support in Morris and the Grundy County area.

School Supplies & Education Support

Support for local students, including school supplies, fees, and paying for lunches.

Holiday Gifting & Meals

Holiday gifts for children and gift cards for parents, who could use a little extra help, as well as turkeys as gift cards during Thanksgiving.

Youth Financial support

Direct assistance for local youth pursuing sports, activities, or passions that would otherwise be inaccessible

Annual MCHS Scholarship

A yearly $1,000 or $2,000 scholarship to one graduating senior at Morris Community High School, who has plans to pursue any form of education post-graduation.

Support for Unhoused & Hungry Neighbors

Filling local food pantries and covering the costs of hotel stays for unhoused people, particularly during the winter months.

Meeting Needs As They Come

Not every need fits neatly into a category…diapers for a parent in a tough spot, a GoFundMe for a life-altering illness. We step in where it’s needed most.
